French as a foreign language (FLE in French: Français Langue Etrangère) is the use of French by non-native speakers in a country where French is not normally spoken.

Our FLE courses can be taken for personal or professional reasons, as well as for tourism or cultural perspective, and can be beneficial for the integration of people in a foreign country.

Teaching French as a foreign language is also about teaching its culture. That is why to Halley Language Institute, culture is an integral part of languages learning.

Our Institute isn’t only place where knowledge is “shared”, it is also a place of exchanges and contacts.

To the teacher, it means first to become aware of French culture. This allows him to better understand the points he will need to explain to enable his learners to better understand a « cultural logic ».

Our French lessons are designed in modules, with each module adapted to your level and all can be supplemented with different activities such as visits of the city of Narbonne and its museums, famous abbeys, vineyards, wine testing sessions and language exchanges, each an opportunity to discover this Mediterranean coastal region renowned for its Cathar and Latin heritage.

Intensive courses, one-to-one lessons, small group courses, you will learn the subtleties of the language of Molière by discovering French culture in welcoming and warming atmosphere.
